Old Ferry Road Bed & Breakfast Lakeview Arkansas

Lakeview is located in the Ozarks of north central Arkansas just south of the Missouri border. Lakeview is on Arkansas Highway 178 and most visitors to the area travel by car. There are several airstrips available to private planes and a regional airport located at Midway. Car rental is available and a charter bus service travels between Mountain Home and Chicago.

130 miles from the Northwest Arkansas Airport • 90 miles from Eureka Springs • 80 miles from Branson

Specific Directions to our front door:
To reach Old Ferry Road Bed and Breakfast from Lakeview turn onto Powerhouse Road (just south of the Bull Shoals dam.) Immediately turn left onto Old Ferry Road. There will be a number of signs at this turn including ours directing you to Old Ferry Road Bed & Breakfast. Our Bed & Breakfast is at the end of this half mile long country lane.

From Little Rock –
Take I-40 West to Conway, exit at US Highway 65 North. Take US 65 north to Marshall and turn right onto Arkansas Highway 27 North. At Harriett turn left onto Arkansas Highway 14 to Yellville. At Yellville turn right onto US Highway 62/412 and go east to Flippin. At the 3 way stop in Flippin go straight onto Arkansas 178. Go through the community of Bull Shoals and across the Bull Shoals dam to Powerhouse Road on your right (see above.)

From Springfield -
Take Hwy. 60 to Mansfield, then Highway 5 South to Gainesville, to Midway. Turn right on Highway 160 and then left on to highway 5. Turn right onto Hwy. 178, proceed through Lakeview, watch for Bull Shoals-White River State Park sign to your left. (If you cross the dam, turn around you just missed it). Turn left toward the park and then make an IMMEDIATE left onto Old Ferry Road. (See above.)

From Branson -
Take Hwy 65 S to Harrison, turn left onto Hwy. 62/412, proceed through Yellville to Flippin, at the 3 way stop go straight onto Hwy 178. Go through the community of Bull Shoals and across the Bull Shoals dam to Powerhouse Road on your right (see above.)

From Mountain Home -
Take Hwy 5 to Midway, Turn left onto Hwy 178.

To River Creel Cottage: Check in at Old Ferry Road B & B. The cottage is located at 1369 River Road. From 178 turn onto Power House Road toward Bull Shoals White River State Park, turn left onto River Road before entering the park. River Creel Cottage is located on the right.
